The Council's Administration Department provides corporate administrative and personnel support services to the Council and comprises the following sections:

  • Administration Section
  • HR Section
  • Equality Unit
  • Registration Section

Administration Section

The Administration Section is responsible for providing a wide range of support services to both elected members and officers of the Council

A major element of the work within this section is the corporate administration and management of the Council's Committee Structure.

This section also works closely with the Council Solicitor to ensure the Council are kept fully appraised and advised of the many legal issues which they are required to address on an ongoing basis.

This section is also responsible for receiving property enquiries and issuing property certificates.
